Learning and Study Strategies Inventory

The Learning and Study Skills Inventory is a quick, 80-item survey that assesses your study habits. It will provide you with a chart of your strengths and weaknesses, compared to other college students, in ten different areas. It will also provide suggestions about areas where you can improve your skills and strategies.

To take this survey, follow these steps:

1.      Blitz "ASC" to get a username and password. These are required in order to take the inventory.

2.      Go to http://www.hhpubco.com/LASSI/

3.      Enter the school number, username and password and follow the instructions carefully. The inventory will take 10-20 minutes to fill out.

4.      After you submit the inventory, your scores will be calculated. You may print them for your convenience.

5.      (Optional) Make an appointment to see Carl Thum, Ph.D., at the Academic Skills Center to discuss the meanings of your scores and what you can do to improve in weaker areas. Call 646-2014 or blitz "ASC" to set up a time to meet.
