The College of Nursing represents nurses at all stages of their careers, providing access to the latest information on nursing practice and giving support to facilitate career advancement.

This focus leads to continuing benefits for health care systems through developing greater awareness of the significance of nursing to other health professionals, relevant government and non-government organisations and the wider community.

Policy making
The College of Nursing is committed to creating nursing’s future by being at the forefront of health care system developments.

Balanced debate and discussion regarding health care issues relies on the valuable experience, views and ideas of the nursing profession. These debates are actively contributed to by the College through activities such as government lobbying, consultation with members, and media programs.
